These terms apply to https://steel.careers and to the training Steel Tech Engineering Excellence Center LLP (“STEEL”, “we”, “us”) provides. By using this site or enrolling on a course, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

1. Who we are

Steel Tech Engineering Excellence Center LLP is a Limited Liability Partnership registered in India, with its registered office at 1st Floor, Mouri Tech, D1 IT Park Hill #2, Rushikonda, Madhurawada, Visakhapatnam - 530045, Andhra Pradesh, and a centre at R366-Thane Belapur Road, TTC Industrial Estate, Navi Mumbai - 400701, INDIA. You can reach us at contact@steel.careers or +91 91823 96242.

2. Using this website

You may read this site, and download or print pages from it, for your own use in deciding whether to train with us. You may not:

  • copy, republish or resell our content, or present it as your own;
  • use the site for anything unlawful, or in a way that damages it or interferes with anyone else’s use of it;
  • submit our forms automatically, in bulk, or with someone else’s details;
  • try to gain access to any part of the site, our systems or our data that is not meant for you.

We may suspend access from any source that does these things.

3. The information on this site

We keep this site accurate and current, and we correct mistakes when we find them. Even so, the pages are published for general information: batch dates, seat counts, schedules, syllabus detail and career information can change, and nothing on the site is an offer capable of acceptance on its own.

What is agreed between us is what we confirm to you directly — your course, batch, fee and payment schedule — not a page you read beforehand. Where the two differ, what we confirmed to you in writing prevails.

4. Enquiries and the forms

When you fill in a form, you are asking us to contact you, and you confirm that the details are yours and are correct. We will use them as our Privacy Policy describes. Submitting a form does not enrol you on anything and does not reserve a seat; it starts a conversation.

We reply to genuine enquiries, but we do not promise to reply to every submission, and we do not commit to a response time on this site. If your enquiry is urgent, WhatsApp or call us.

5. Enrolment and admission

You are enrolled when we confirm your seat to you and the agreed fee, or first instalment, has been received. Until then no seat is held.

Seats in a batch are limited. We may close a batch when it is full, move you to the next batch with your agreement, or decline an admission. We may also change a batch’s start date, schedule, mode or venue where we need to, and we will tell you as early as we can. If we cancel a batch outright, the Refund & Cancellation Policy applies.

6. Fees and payment

We do not publish course fees on this site. Your fee, what it includes and your payment schedule are confirmed with you directly before you pay anything. Any instalment plan is the one we have agreed with you in writing.

Fees are payable in Indian Rupees. Online payments are taken by a third-party payment gateway on its own secure page; we do not see or store your card details. Where a payment fails or is taken twice, tell us and we will have it reversed.

Where an instalment is overdue, we may pause access to classes, materials, assessment or the certificate until it is paid. Refunds and cancellations are dealt with in the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.

7. The training, certificates and your part in it

We will deliver the course we have confirmed to you, taught by our trainers, and assess your work as described on the course page.

On completing the training, the assessments and the final project, you receive the STEEL Certificate of Industry-Oriented Training. The Tekla Authorised Certificate is issued by Trimble, not by us, on your passing the Tekla Certification Exam — sitting the exam is part of the course, but passing it is not something we can promise on your behalf.

Where a placement guarantee applies to your batch, it applies on the terms stated to you at admission, including reaching 85% in the final assessment. The guarantee is between you and us, and is not a promise made by any employer.

In return, we ask that you attend as the schedule requires, do your own assessment work, use the software and our systems within their licence terms, and treat other students, our trainers and our centres with respect. We may withdraw a student, without refund, for conduct that makes the course unworkable for others — cheating, harassment, or damage to our premises or equipment.

8. Course material and intellectual property

The site, our course material, exercises, models, drawings, recordings and the STEEL name and logo belong to us or to our licensors. Material given to you during a course is licensed to you personally, for your own learning, for as long as you are a student with us.

You may not record, copy, share, upload, resell or teach from our material, or pass your login or joining link to anyone else. Doing so is a breach of these terms and may end your enrolment without refund.

Tekla and Trimble are trademarks of Trimble Inc. We use them as an Authorized Training Centre, under Trimble’s brand guidelines. Other product and company names on this site belong to their owners, and nothing here suggests they endorse us.

9. Software and licences

Software used in training is licensed to us for training use. Your access to it is only for the duration and purpose of the course, at our centre or as we set it up for you. You may not copy it, install it elsewhere, or use it commercially on the strength of that access. Any licence you take out yourself is a matter between you and the software vendor.

10. Links and other services

This site links to services we do not control, including Trimble and Tekla, Google Maps, WhatsApp and any social profiles in our footer. We are not responsible for their content or their handling of your information, and a link is not an endorsement.

11. What we do not promise

We provide training. We do not promise a job, a particular salary, a particular employer, or that you will pass the Tekla Certification Exam. Career information on this site — roles, progression, what the industry pays — is drawn from public sources and our own experience, and is given to help you decide; it is not a forecast of your own outcome.

The site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available or free of error, and we may change or withdraw any part of it. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit or opportunity, or for anything arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Our total liability in connection with a course is limited to the fee you paid for it.

Nothing here affects your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

12. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and what we do with it, and forms part of these terms.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our services change. The date at the top of this page tells you when they last changed, and the version published here is the one that applies. A change does not alter what we have already agreed with you for a course you are enrolled on.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. Before going to court, please raise the matter with us — most things are settled with a phone call.
